Adjusting to life in the US is difficult for anybody but becoming displaced from your home country comes with a whole different set of challenges. The abrupt change can really make a person feel shaken up and insecure about their lives. It can be isolating to feel as though your home has changed in a blink of an eye without your control. At Listen One, we want our Sharers to know that we are here to offer support during this difficult time. Transitions are different for everybody, so it is important to know that our Listeners offer empathy and encouragement in a judgment-free zone.
